How DakBox Checks Your Order in Japan

What happens between your order and your door: the seller check before you pay, the DakBox Japan office check, weighing, photos, and what we do if something is wrong.

Buying from a shop you can't visit takes trust. This is exactly what DakBox does with a Japan order, step by step, so you know what is checked and when.

1. Before you pay: we check with the seller

For items from the Dak Proxy shop and Japanese shops, DakBox checks three things with the seller in Japan before you pay:

  • It is still available. Second-hand items on Mercari and similar sites sell fast.
  • Today's price. If the price changed, you see the change before paying.
  • The seller's own conditions. Some sellers have rules about sizes, bundles or shipping; we read them for you.

If we can't confirm an item, we tell you instead of taking your money.

2. You pay DakBox, never the seller

You pay DakBox in Taka by bKash, Nagad or bank. DakBox pays the Japanese shop. That is why every refund also comes from DakBox — see Refunds and returns at DakBox.

3. At the DakBox Japan office

Your item is delivered to the DakBox Japan office first, not straight to the airport. There the team:

  • opens the parcel and checks it is the item you ordered,
  • photographs it — the photos go on your order page, so you see your item before it leaves Japan,
  • weighs and measures the packed parcel.

4. The real weight

Your price includes delivery based on an estimate. After weighing:

  • if the parcel is heavier, you see the extra delivery amount on your order page and pay it before it flies;
  • if it is lighter, the difference comes back to you as Dak Wallet credit.

Either way, you get a message with the real weight.

5. Packed, flown and delivered

The parcel is packed for the trip and sent to Bangladesh. You get an email at each step, and your order page always shows where it is. Japan orders usually take 25–30 days from order to your door — holidays and customs checks can add time.

6. If something is wrong

Check your parcel when it arrives. If it is damaged, missing something or not what you ordered, report it from your order page within 7 days with photos of the item and the packaging. We compare them with the photos we took in Japan before shipping, and refund approved cases.
